The Biewer Terrier originated in Germany in 1984 when two Tricolour puppies were born to a pair of Yorkshire Terriers, marking the start of a new, beloved breed. A famous German singer fell in love with them and added "a la pom pon' to the name. Werner and Gertrude continued to breed these dogs, eventually establishing a worldwide reputation for their unique charm and beauty. American dog fanciers began importing the Biewer from Germany in 2002, captivated by their distinct coats and delightful personalities. Robustly healthy with the sweetest of temperaments these puppies are about the perfect family member.
